Delivery Policy

Delivery Fees

We offer FREE delivery to all major centres in South Africa: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria (Central), Durban, East London and Port Elizabeth. We regret we are currently unable to deliver to other areas. See schedule below for details:

Delivery Times

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (excluding public holidays).

Most of our orders are dispatched within 24 hours after payment and we provide online tracking though our courier partners. We aim to make all deliveries within 3 working days. Please allow for Public Holidays and Stock Shortages (see below).

Once you have indicated your address and you have received confirmation of your order, we regret that no changes to the specified address will be accepted.

The person receiving the delivery will be asked by the courier to sign the delivery note indicating that the products have been received undamaged and in good condition. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.

Should no-one attend the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice. The driver will try to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required. Our liability for any delay in delivery is limited to re-delivery at a later agreed time at no additional charge. We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements to third party service providers. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any loss or damage caused by them.

Delayed Deliveries

Should an item be out of stock, we will notify you thereof and provide you with the anticipated delay in delivery (if possible). Unless you agree to wait for such longer period for delivery, or accept delivery of another product instead, TAH Animal Hospital will issue you with a refund in respect of the product or give you the option to credit your account with an amount equal to the price paid for the product.

Returns and Refunds Policy

If you find any of the products to be defective or we have delivered the wrong product, you may within 30 days after delivery of the products inform TAH Animal Hospital of the defect via email ([email protected]) and we will arrange to collect and replace or refund the item, at our cost, as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we will not accept products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse, improper use, negligence, accident, alteration or tampering, and you hereby indemnify TAH Animal Hospital accordingly.

If you want to return a product because it is unpalatable to your pet, doesn’t fit your pet or you have changed your mind and don’t want it any more, you will need to return the product to TAH Animal Hospital. No refunds will be given until the products are returned in good order to the specified location of TAH Animal Hospital, 16 Plein Street, Durbanville 7530 for attention TAH online orders.

We reserve the right to charge a 10% administration fee on returns should the process incur significant administration expenses.
